For about one hundred million years, our waters have been visited by the green (Chelonia mydas) and the logger-head (Caretta caretta) turtles. The green turtle only nests in Cyprus, south-east Turkey and sometimes in Israel.

It warms our faces and grows our food; the sun is our life blood and gives us everything that we need to survive. Using its potential, however, has escaped the worlds population, or at least until relatively recently. Harnessing the suns' full potential may be a long way into the future, but until technology shows us the true possibilities of solar power we can use what we have as a matter of necessity, economic need and personal responsibility
